Francis W. Parker School Reviews
Rating 4.18 out of 5 67 reviews
Being new to the school for middle school, our family has been nothing but impressed with the professional and welcoming staff who made our transition to Parker seamless. Parker's long history and stellar reputation as a top-tier college preparatory school speak for themselves and are well-known. However, it's clear that these are not just marketing slogans like at many schools. Most importantly for us, the teachers and staff really care about students and their success.
Francis Parker has been my school since I was 5 years old. I love my friends and I have a good relationship with a lot of my teachers. Overall I've learned a lot in my classes and it can be fun and interesting a lot of the time. It's a cool place but it would be better if the population reflected more of the real world as far as race, ethnicity, economic status ability, and more. Everything there is basically really nice and you kind of know you're fortunate to be there and hopefully you don't take it for granted. I like a lot of the clubs and have learned from being part of them, and I've also had fun playing sports and playing in the school orchestra. It's fun being a Senior and seeing all the younger kids and remembering what it was like back then.
Francis W. Parker is a great school. The mission of living in a democratic society and contributing as a citizen is infuseded into the educational curriculum that each student receives.
Parker offers a top notch education along with a balance of extra curricular activities and enrichment programs. The school has sports programs, art programs and a huge variety of clubs. They are very accommodating and open to the students and family's concerns or suggestions.
The teachers are dedicated and caring. Daniel Frank, the principal, is kind and compassionate and he is interested in ensuring that each student succeeds.
The college counseling team provides exceptional service and they assist each student with guidance throughout the college application process.
The school offers many guest speaking events that are free and open to the public.
The school could be a little more diverse. They are working on actively recruiting a more diverse student pool.I would highly recommend them.
