Ahead of her sprawling 40th-anniversary tour, Madonna is set to drop her first tracks in four years with some massive cosigns.

Last week, Sam Smith revealed that Madge will appear on their upcoming song "Vulgar," set to drop June 9. Smith posted a strings-heavy sample of the track to their socials earlier today.

This has been an especially fruitful day for Madonna fans, as the Weekendsorry, Abel — has also shared that the pop legend and Playboi Carti will feature on the first single for his contentious show The Idol. The title of the track has yet to be revealed, but it will be released on Friday (June 2).

UPDATE (6/02 10:25 a.m. ET): The Weeknd has unveiled his track "Popular" featuring Madonna and Playboi Carti. Listen to it below.

Madonna's most recent record was 2019's Madame X. Its subsequent tour led to multiple lawsuits over its late start times.

In January, it was revealed that the Julia Garner-led Madonna biopic had been scrapped.
