Very nice clean and as always empty beach.
Parking very expensive! 4$/ hour is quit too much. But you can park very close to the beach, that’s cool!

Lovely stroll after dinner. We browsed the art galleries - all different do sure to find something to discuss and debate - and window shopped and picked restaurants for rest of the week.

We thoroughly enjoyed our visit to the Bonnet House. It was definitely worth paying $25 for the guided tour. Our guide Sid was full of information and also was very amusing. So glad we took the guided tour instead of the self guided tour.

The historical society is comprised of a few buildings, although only one is open to the public. It contains a film about the history of the area as well as a few comprehensive exhibits. The staff I encountered were extremely friendly. Recommended for history buffs such as myself.

It was very interesting to learn about this place. Bonnet House is so different. Our tourguide did a great job. We especially loved seeing the Dade pine.

This is a nice beach. Overall there’s nothing special about it. I visited on a Tuesday afternoon and found parking right across the street. The beach was quiet and serene.

Our group of four families, each with an 11-year old boy, rented kayaks to traverse the beautiful and unusual Hugh Taylor Birch State Park. We enjoyed the calm waters knowing that we’d see iguanas but no gators as the entrances are blocked by heavy screens to keep larger marine life out.

This is a great place to enjoy some peaceful outdoor time. There are picnic areas, trails, and very reasonable bike, kayak, canoe, and standup paddle board rentals — and parking is just $6 for the day. There’s also a nice open-air restaurant serving bar-style food including conch fritters and good local beers on tap.

Water taxi was very informative and had a great time getting off and eating/drinking.
My wife and I also went parasailing, with So Flo parasailing. They were great!
Favorite place to eat while we were there was Coconuts! Fantastic food! Rocco’s Tacos was very good also!

We took the walk on a Friday about mid day in August. There are lots of yachts to see parked along the water's edge, with several drawbridges. There are few restaurants along the route with several a short distance away. There are free water taxis that can pick you up at select spots and bring you to other locations. The total distance end-to-end is less than a mile. A nice way to spend a couple hours, and do take the taxi for nice ride on the water.

It certainly helped that we were the only ship in port this day, so no traffic and no crowds. The terminal was functional and the staff were nice. We were on board in 30 minutes. And there are some nice Florida views from the ship.

Pretty Beach, but parking was horrible. We got a $25 ticket because we didn't see a sign that was hidden by a truck. We even asked the attendant if it was OK to park there and he said sure. Boy, we were so mad when we saw the ticket. I think it was a scam.

A fantastic venue to enjoy an evening of opera. Parking is easily accessible. The staff are very organized. I would sit closer next time for opera. They don't use microphones, which is great, but a little soft for far away seats.
