Hate that they discontinued them
Great first car in my opinion, I’ve had 2 fusions now. My second one 19’ SE ecoboost (current) does have its issues such as transmission problems that I’ve never had in my 16’ SE but it rides comfortably, looks good, very safe and puts down some good power for a 1.5 liter. When I got into my accident with the 16’ it was honestly not bad, solid hit but I barely moved and the car took the impact really well (airbags did not deploy) ford is really tough lol. I’m in love with this car and I hoping to transfer to fusion sport soon. Definitely a sleeper just wish it could look more aggressive
Piece of junk engine
I got a great deal onvthis car as a 2019 leftover demo with 3000 miles on it. They took 9000.00 iff the sticker at the beginning of Covid. Ran fine but for a 1.5 liter engine gas mileage sits at around 25 or 26 not really that good. Problems started at 35000 miles, Bumper to Bumper warranty just ended due to time. About 15 days later engine light was coming on acceleration was wacky, changed spark plugs them the coils. This didnt fix it. Called the dealership they brought it in, told me there is a problem with the colllant or some sort of defect in the seal of some of these engines. Needs a whole new engine. Just 35 k. Luckily the powertrain warranty is still good. Terrible that an engine only lasts this long. I have never had to replace an engine in cars with over 100k. Wont buy another Ford for a while.
