When Splinter went to bed, the Ninja Turtles would play with his goldfish, setting her bowl up to act as a fifth person for whatever game they were playing. One year prior, Piebald's bowl was accidentally shattered during a game of sewer hockey. Desperate to get her to some water so that she could survive, the Turtles put her in their toilet. They then proceeded to play with a flying disc; Leonardo accidentally hit the flush mechanism for the toilet with the disc, sending Piebald spiraling down through the pipes. Leo forced his brothers to never tell Splinter of this incident, replacing Piebald with an "identical goldfish" which was actually a rock with googly eyes...

One night, Piebald returned to the Lair to mess with Michelangelo's psyche, trying to get him to confess to Splinter of what they'd done. She started out by writing graffiti on his wall (which was gone when he went to show Leo), then she interrupted his playing of Hot Soup: The Game with unnerving visuals of her coming out of a toilet.

The Turtles were forced to finally believe Mikey when Piebald came out of the Lair's graffiti wall to attack. The Turtles ended up fleeing to the kitchen, where they thought they'd lost her, and encountered Splinter feeding "Piebald" (a googly-eyed rock) and asking if Michelangelo had anything to confess, to which he said he "tooted".

She first gets Raph and Donnie, because Leo flushed and Mikey have seen her anger and she need to scare them more. Then they went to turtle tank to escape but they heard a voice; he just was franken foot! He wanted escape too but Piebald get him a. Then Leo and Mikey escaped of engine output when doors were locked, but Mikey wasn't lucky and she get him.Leo escaped and broke the door of Splinter's room for help but she has get him too.

One by one, Piebald began picking off the Turtles, and Splinter too, until only Leo was left. She dangled the family above an eddy in the sewer, threatening to do to them as was done unto her. Leo summoned up the courage to face Piebald, but she hit the rope with her hook and sent them spiraling toward the whirlpool.

Confusingly to Leo and the other Turtles, however, the rope rebounded before it touched the water, and Splinter was gone. It turned out that Piebald had come to Splinter and the two had worked together to scare the Turtles for their actions.

  • This is the third episode of Season 2, even though it initially aired during Season 1.
  • This episode contains numerous references to the 1997 horror film I Know What You Did Last Summer:
    • The Turtles make a pact to cover up the fact that they accidentally flushed Piebald down the toilet, just as the movie’s protagonists make a pact to cover up the fact that they apparently killed someone with their car.
      • In both instances, the individuals harmed by each party survive and attempt to take revenge against those who wronged them.
    • Piebald’s fishhook-like weapon resembles the ice hook used by the movie’s antagonist, Ben Willis.
    • Both this episode and the film have twist endings: Ben Willis survived a skirmish between himself and two of the film’s protagonists, and Piebald’s attack was merely a ruse orchestrated by herself and Splinter.
  • The visual of Piebald coming out of the toilet is a nod to the Japanese horror film, The Ring.
  • Donnie's remark that he and the other Turtles act more like roommates than brothers may be a callback to earlier incarnations of the characters, whom were depicted as roommates instead of brothers.
  • The makeshift toilet in the Lair bears some resemblance to the Flushomatic, albeit in a different configuration.
  • The eddy where Piebald seemingly attempts to flush the Turtles appears to be the same area where the Sando Brothers ambushed Raph in "Man VS. Sewer", as the middle section of the catwalk is missing.
  • This is the first episode of Rise of the TMNT to premiere on Nicktoons.
