The Flintstones: Modern Stone-Age Melodies is a 1994 soundtrack album that contains twenty-one songs featured in the original series, The Flintstones plus one song featured in the film, The Man Called Flintstone and another from a 1966 TV special, Alice in Wonderland (known as The New Alice in Wonderland (or What's a Nice Kid like You Doing in a Place like This?) in which Fred and Barney appeared, which makes it a total of twenty-three songs.
Although some recordings had previously been issued on record, this was the first time The Flintstones TV series received a proper soundtrack release. Although most of the pop music tracks featured on the album from the series featuring the likes of the Beau Brummels, Jimmy Darren and Hoagy Carmichael were featured, others were not, most notably the two Ann-Margrock (Ann-Margret) songs, which to date have never been included on a Flintstones soundtrack album. The album includes both theme songs as well as a cast rendition of "Meet the Flintstones" which predated its use in the series and previously appeared in the album Songs of the Flintstones.
