About “First Step”
First Step is the 1970 debut album of the band Faces, referred to in the USA at the time as Small Faces. It features Rod Stewart and Ronnie Lane, formerly in the Jeff Beck Group, replacing Steve Mariott from the original Small Faces. An R & B tour de force, it was recorded in late 1969 and released March 1970.
