I have put together r/SupportHarryMeghan specifically to counter the immense vile abuse that is constantly targeted at Harry and Meghan from the Daily Mail multiple times a day.
Of course, the Daily Mail plays their part very well. They alter upvotes and down votes to suit the narrative their pushing, and delete comments that reveal them too much. They write headlines with a hugely negative spin, that would be neutral or positive for anyone else.
There are people there, including myself that regularly try to correct misinformation and point out double standards. But there's not enough of us.
My aim is to create a targeted response. To post links to articles that need our support, for us to then flood the comments with positivity, to support with upvotes, and to down vote hate.
If you are willing to create a DM account or have one already, and have a few minutes to spare each day, please head over. I'm hoping that even eh a few regulars, we can make at least some difference to the hate spreading of Meghan and Harry. Of course open to suggestions and ideas.

I appreciate you going into the lion's den and countering their hateful narrative. But I couldn't spend that much time reading that drivel without it having a negative impact on my mental health. I just can't do it. And they're auto deleting your comments now? What else can you really do? Preserve your sanity and don't give them the clicks.
Absolutely. If you find it hard to detach from the words then 100% it can affect your mental health. I might include that in the description.
They don't auto delete comments, but let's just say not all of mine survive. The ones that get thrived are worth it. They're was a thread saying how H&M never show their kids (are they talk etc) followed by 3 comments saying how ugly they are. I comments that THIS is why they keep them out of the public eye. It's up to over 40 upvotes (unusual for mine) and I feel like my comment might have stuck with at least a few.
I agree totally with your overall point though and purposefully don't linger in DM for the reasons you outlined.
Have you heard of #imhereaustralia? (I'm sure there's similar/ same in other countries. They do a great job on FB of swamping negativity and I suppose this is modelled from that.
Engaging with the DM, tabloids, just makes them more money. They want those outraged clicks. I wouldn’t bother with that. And I don’t personally read or amplify all that toxicity.
I completely agree. It's actually something I comment regularly. There can be 5000 comments of "I'm sick of seeing her face" so I'll point out that if they really don't want to see her, then stop clicking etc. I like to think I provide a bit of education. I think many genuinely don't know that. I take your point though.
How can you be trusted, you could be one of the dangers I apologize if you are not but your heart is in the right place if you are, the haters are working real hard to get Meghan supporters info.
All that does is drive traffic to the DM, they love it because they depend heavily on ad impressions for revenue. All that increasing engagement with them does is encourage them to keep putting out more of the same
I will not support DM in any way. Not one click. Engagement in any way, even to wade into the muck to “defend” H and M amongst the crazies is still them winning. Don’t do it.
Appreciate the effort but please don’t send people to the tabloids to argue with unhinged people and literal bots. That’s ALL they want.
I will do all I can to support this effort! As a Christian who practices my faith, I will constantly ask for intercession: In Jesus Name we pray. I know many people don’t believe in God or Satan and as such, in my humble opinion, the negativity is spewing! Satan works through the media and he can be stopped; however, it takes positive energies released daily to counter his evil!
The Saint Michael Prayer is an excellent prayer to help defend us from the snares of the devil! Also, Psalms 37 is a powerful message for dealing with evil doers like the Daily Mail.

Great idea! This bothers the haters the most, when their hateful narratives are CHALLENGED. They want to lie and attack without consequence. We will not let them.
