    • Q:

A group of us will be attending a concert at Fenway this summer. Are there specific parking lots where we can tailgate prior to the show (even if not using a grill)?

      A:

There is a parking lot across the street from Fenway next to "Boston Beer Works". I highly doubt the police in Boston would allow any tailgating. You might have too much fun and hurt yourself. Public drinking isn't allowed and I have never seen it… more

How is this venue for concerts(is it too far from the stage)?

      A:

You have to buy good seats like any other venue.

We're from CT. When my son was around 6, we took him to his first MLB game in Tampa while we were on vacation. The game was indoors. Some fans were peppered around the seats, but it felt dead. I immediately regretted not waiting until we could take him to Fenway.

Last night was our first family Major League Pro Sports game since the Pandemic. It was raining, but the game was still 10,000 percent better than that Rays game. The stadium is so original and classic. The Monster. The weird foul line rules. The lively surrounding area. How you're packed in with a bunch of great people!

Fenway is my favorite stadium. I'm not sure I even have a second favorite.

ok. So I'm never giving 5 stars as a NY Yankee fan but I have to admit the place is a shrine to all that love baseball.
I was corrected by an usher too that it is not a stadium, it is a ballpark.
      (Good point well taken)
Being there brings you back to the days of legends and not the current millionaire mentality that (IMO) has taken a lot away from the game.
Sat 10 rows behind my Yankees while they were visiting.
Good seats from pretty much anywhere.
I will tell you the (box) seats are a little narrow compared to many modern parks.
A true baseball fan will make the trip here (and to Wrigley)
Boston is a great city but make sure you stop by for a game. The city is very proud of it.

As a passionate photographer and avid baseball fan, I recently had the pleasure of spending a day capturing the iconic exterior of Fenway Park in Boston, MA. Without a doubt, I can confidently say that this experience stands out as one of the best parts in the Majors. I will always say that PNC Park is my favorite being biased and from Pittsburgh, but as iconic parks Fenway and Wrigley are the best in all of Major League Baseball.

Fenway Park is more than just a baseball stadium; it's a living, breathing testament to the rich history of the sport. From the moment you approach Yawkey Way and catch a glimpse of the majestic Green Monster, you're immediately immersed in the timeless charm of Fenway's architecture. The contrast of the red brick against the vibrant green surroundings creates a visual masterpiece that's unparalleled in the world of ballparks.

The exterior of Fenway Park offers a myriad of photographic opportunities. The meticulously preserved details, such as the iconic Citgo sign peeking over the outfield, the unique angles of the stadium, and the charming entrance gates, serve as captivating subjects for any photographer seeking to capture the essence of baseball tradition.

What makes Fenway Park truly special is its seamless integration into the fabric of the city. The bustling energy of Yawkey Way on game day, the lively street performers, and the passionate fans decked out in Red Sox gear all contribute to the dynamic backdrop for stunning photographs. Whether you're a seasoned photographer or just someone with a smartphone, Fenway Park's exterior provides an endless array of picture-perfect moments.

Moreover, the sense of history and nostalgia enveloping Fenway Park is palpable. The exterior tells a story of decades of baseball glory, from the Green Monster's towering presence to the charming quirks that make Fenway truly one-of-a-kind. Each click of the camera shutter feels like capturing a piece of baseball history, making Fenway Park an essential pilgrimage for any photography enthusiast.

As an invited guest of one of my banker friends who happened to be in Boston at a conference (this was an evening conference event) the same time we were passing through, we were thrilled to partake in a very special experience and that was having Fenway Park practically to ourselves! There is also a publicly offered tour for Fenway Park and I'd highly recommend it to any baseball fan. This very old franchise, think 1912, and just drips in history. Lots of historical relics of "The Babe" to see as you walk the corridors. It's very much like a museum and a must see for baseball fans. The World Series Championship trophy's are on display and they are giant and awesome in person. My tour was very private but I'd go back and pay for one
Offered to the general public. Standing in the bleachers all by yourself, looking out at the "Green Monster" was awesome. I highly recommend visiting this institution even if you may not be a Red Sox fan if you're in the neighborhood don't miss it.

Ahhh quintessential Boston. The best nights always begin and end with a Red Sox game at Fenway park. The energy, the food, the drinks, the crisp air. What more could you want?

Italian sausage? Check. These sausages as tasty and HUGE. Some onions and peppers on top would really make me go wow. Still delicious though.

Fenway Frank? Check check. Nothing like a plain hotdog in a soft bun with some ketchup and mustard. You know what they say, don't fix what's working.

A beer in hand and a somewhat decent ball game? Triple check.

No matter the Sox's record for the season, you can count on Fenway to always give off high energy and radiate amazing summer vibes the minute you step foot on Landsdowne or Yawkey Way.

Special shoutout to the late Tim Wakefield. One of the greats to ever wear a Red Sox uniform.

      Wonderful icon.
If you are thin and agile it's a great place to watch the Sox.
If you are old, thick or out of shape watching on TV is better.
We went in a tour and I am proudly in the vigorous category and it was fabulous! Others in our group fell (yes fell) or had to delay the group by finding elevators.
The tour is not for the feeble.
      Go Sox!

      The field.

If you are a baseball fan then a visit to Fenway Park should be on your bucket list. Sure the seats are circa 1910 (narrow), some are obstructed view, and certain sections do not face home plate but it's the oldest MLB park, so......

Spend the money and buy good seats try Gametime, Stubhub, or even MLB.com.

Get there early and go to the bleacher bar for a beer and a great view from center field for warmups. Hit the Cask and Flagon for a Sam's before hitting up Jersey St. Be sure to have a sausage sandwich at El Tiante's and another Sam's. Enjoy the pregame vibe, buy a souvenir at the pro shop, or just have fun.

Gametime! You will note that the green monsta appears to be a real short porch or check out the distance to Pesky's pole in right field. A pop fly to either field is an HR or a hit off the monsta is an HR in any other park.

Pro tip: Sign up for the Fenway Park tour in the afternoon it is uber cool!

Fenway is one of the last great iconic testaments to how baseball shaped America.

To be where the legendary players like Ted Williams played is amazing

      Clean, vibrant, and historic
      The fans are so passionate
      The experience will be unforgettable

A trip to Boston wouldn't be complete without taking in a Red Sox game at Fenway. Although it would have been nice to see them play the Yankees, we decided to take in an afternoon game vs the Baltimore Orioles. It proved to be a wise choice as it rained most of the week and the latter games ended up getting postponed.
We were running a bit late from Sam Adams, but because of the rain, the start of the game was delayed. We made it just as the national anthem was being performed. Before taking our seats, we ordered some nachos. Nachos were $11, but I was amazed at how much you got. They also included pico, chili, sour cream, and jalapeños. Lucky for us our seats stayed dry despite the rain. Game was entertaining and the Sox pulled out the W, 7-3.

We went to a Pink concert, My first with her, My wife and her best friend have seen her at the Garden. Pat Benetar was the warm up with a Dj, but Pink was awesome.
Now Fenway Park, it's def the oldest park but this new ownership group has spend money to add upgrades and seats, soon they will be seats on top of the roof tops ones.
Since losing #150 lbs , I fit comfortably in seats , but when I was curverer, I hated the seats. I think the ownership should call me and I could recommend some upgrades and they will make bank on them!!
Food and drink wise top notch, amenities are lacking for the general fan but in boxes there are top notch!!
      Thanks Boys. John and Tom
