Welcome to Our Practice
Dr. Trey Matthew Latiolais was raised in Bridge City, which is in Southeast Texas, near the Louisiana border. After graduating high school, he played baseball for Southwestern University in Georgetown, TX and then received his undergraduate degree from Lamar University in Beaumont, TX. Dr. Trey received his Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree from the University of Texas Health Science Center in Houston, TX where he met his beautiful wife, Niki Latiolais, who is also a dentist. After graduating in 2008, Drs. Trey and Niki practiced in Central Texas before relocating to the Northeast Texas area in 2015.
Dr. Trey practiced in Hughes Springs, TX until a fire tragically consumed the office of Mustang Dental in October of 2016. In January of 2017, he took over the longtime practice of Dr. Danny Lilley located in Daingerfield, TX. Dr. Trey named his practice Fenix Dental as a nod to the mythical bird – the phoenix – that rises from the ashes. Dr. Niki has an office located in Mt. Pleasant; TX called Piney Woods Family Dentistry.
When they are not in the office, he and Dr. Niki enjoy spending time with their two adorable children, a daughter, Logan and a son, Tate. Together, they enjoy all things outdoors including, fishing, swimming, and barbecuing!
Treatment Options
Here at Fenix Dental, we strive to remain current on all of the latest dental technology and treatment options through several hours of continuing education courses. The Texas State Board of Dental Examiners only requires dentists to earn twelve hours of continuing education every year. However, Dr. Trey goes above and beyond completing anywhere from one hundred to two hundred CE hours in a year!
Dr. Trey can diagnose, treat, and manage your overall oral health care needs, including gum care, root canals, fillings, crowns, dentures, partials, bridges, and preventive education.
