This is a superb CD, a must. But my two copies of the Crown LP (original) have an 11th track which is not on this CD. The track, "Please Be Kind" appears as the third track on side 1 of the Crown LP, and from listening, it appears to be from the same session. It is disappointing that ACE did not put it on the CD. Perhaps an earlier Modern label LP version did not include it (?), but that is not a good enough excuse. It is not otherwise available on CD, so it remains a rare track.
I checked and listened to the version of "Please Be Kind" on the other ACE CD called "That's Where I Came In". That one is from 1947, and is very distinctively different from the Crown LP version, which definitely sounds like 1957. So the 1957 performance, a superb one, is missing.
The graphic package is "acceptable", but in the future, ACE should take a lesson from the Japanese and produce high quality cardboard "mini-LP" sleeves if the retro look is desired.
All said, this CD is still an absolute must. Don't miss it. By the way, don't be misled by another CD on the Virgin label which uses the same cover photo as this CD. The Virgin CD is totally different, early recordings of Hadda. This ACE CD is unique.
