We’re all going to die someday. That’s a fact. The thing that gets me the most is when I think about what the last song I’ll ever hear might be. Then I get in my car and listen to music and think, is this the last song I’ll ever listen to?
Why am I thinking about death?
There’s the truth of it; you never know when’s the last time you’ll eat your favorite meal. You’ll never know when’s the last time you’ll make love. That’s what makes life precious. So drink it all in, you never know.
Death is a fundamental aspect of human existence and a universal experience that raises many questions and concerns. A lot of people who think about death (me included) take their fear/thoughts about death and use it to instil a sense of urgency to live life to the fullest and make the most of the limited time we have.
I go through phases where it's all I can think about. I am glad I am not alone in that.
r/iam14andthisdeep material here. Also not a question but an opinion with a fake question no one can answer.
Knowing that you have limited time, and that it's non negotiable, why spend a second of it worrying about something you have no control over? It's like worrying about gravity, or the sunrise. Learning to dismiss excessive thoughts about it, will enable you to make the most of your time.
