The story of the widow of Lee Harvey Oswald, the man accused of shooting President Kennedy. Via flashbacks, the story traces the woman's life from her days in Russia, the turmoil following the assassination, raising her family, and coming to grips with the fact that she too may have been a pawn in a grand conspiracy. Made for TV during the hoopla of the 30th anniversary of the assassination, this is a somewhat one-sided look at the events surrounding the tragic incident. For the uninitiated, this movie will provide some sketchy background on the events in the early life of LHO and the assassination. It's obvious that pains were taken to project Ms. Oswalds' story here as objective as possible, considering the scenes of her shortly after the event, running amok around town. The picture does attain a sense of reality to this extent-the viewer expects Marina to blow the lid off the conspiracy throughout-and so we do in real life!
