S04’s summer training camp once again to be held in Mittersill

FC Schalke 04 will once again prepare for a new season in Mittersill. This summer will mark the eighth time that the Royal Blues travel to the Nationalpark Hohe Tauern in Austria. This year’s training camp will be held between Monday, 8th July and Sunday, 14th July 2024. The team is due to play two friendlies during this period – details will be announced on schalke04.de and on the club’s social media channels in due course.

Emmanuel Gyamfi has signed his first professional contract at FC Schalke 04 following five years in the academy. The contract is valid until 30th June 2028.

Simon Terodde: I will hold that in my heart

Terodde suggests that he was a little nervous in the morning. “When we were travelling to the stadium in the bus a few things were running through my mind,” said Simon Terodde describing his feelings ahead of his final home game at the VELTINS-Arena on Saturday (11/5) against Hansa Rostock. “Then when the clips were shown on the video screen before the game and the fans started chanting – that doesn’t leave you cold. It was very emotional today.”

Danny Latza: I am grateful for every moment

Schalke’s captain during the 2021/22 promotion season received the armband one last time in the last few minutes of the game against Hansa Rostock. Simon Terodde handed the armband over to Danny Latza as he made his way off the pitch having been substituted. “That was really special. Ben Manga joins FC Schalke 04

The Royal Blues have bolstered their sporting management team with the addition of Ben Manga, who has become the new director of squad planning, scouting and the Knappenschmiede youth academy. Manga has signed a long-term contract at the club and will be responsible for Schalke’s senior and youth teams alongside sporting director Marc Wilmots with immediate effect. Both Manga and Wilmots will report directly to Schalke CEO, Matthias Tillmann.

Keke Topp: It’s great that so many Schalke fans travelled to Hamburg

FC Schalke 04 showed immediately in the first few minutes of their game at the Millerntor-Stadion on Tuesday (7th May) that they were hungry to win the game and secure survival once and for all.
