Ron Geesin is well known for his collaborations with Pink Floyd on the title track from ‘Atom Heart Mother’ in 1970. The album, well received by the band’s wide community of fans, as well as from the critics, is still one of the most acclaimed release by the legendary Pink Floyd.
Composer and musician, Ron Geesin worked a lot recording soundtracks and solo albums, mainly experimenting on electronic music.
In 1970 Ron was asked to record some tracks for the Osaka Expo, but he never released a proper album until now.
‘Expo Zoom’ is definitely a gem in the music world of the Seventies, also because it breathes the same air and atmosphere of the times he worked with Pink Floyd, and it is about time to give it the kind of recognition it deserves.
The 20 tracks included on ‘Expo Zoom’ were remastered with the collaboration of Max Marchini (Greg Lake, ELP, Manticore Records) in 2019.
The album is supported by the promotion of the official Italian fan club of Pink Floyd, as well as a UK based press office.
Interviews, promo activities and events are going to be soon announced.
