This is a fascinating time capsule.
It's 90 minutes of exploring various alledged psychic powers live on tv and it was aired not only in the US, but Canada, Italy, etc. It's got challenges performed by ordinary people who claim to have powers (and agreed to be on the show) created by people who know their stuff and these challengers, as the participants are called. So, it's not a pre-planned humiliation hour. None of the people succeed but the show doesn't make fun of them personally. Although, Randi has fun with debunking it all and Penn & Teller have a good time making fun of the concept, there's still human decency on display here and I enjoyed that.

Noted debunker of various flim flams, Randi has a live TV special that looks to educate viewers on psychic fraud. Randi has various version of psychics on, looking to humiliate them, including his arch nemesis Uri Geller. This is a sort of fun relic of the 80's psychic wars, as I have dubbed them. You can still see psychic shops all over, much work to be done still.
My favorite part of this is how they had viewers call in live and say if they can see what shape is behind the card, and if anything weird happened when Uri tried to fuck up your appliances. All for 2 dollars a minute! Wait a minute Randi, I thought that the…
