Customer Reviews, including Product Star Ratings help customers to learn more about the product and decide whether it is the right product for them.
To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don’t use a simple average. Instead, our system considers things like how recent a review is and if the reviewer bought the item on Amazon. It also analyzed reviews to verify trustworthiness.
I was really excited to get the only purchasable Jay Electonica music to date. Unfortunately I believe this to be a scam. The record was was more rounded and thicker than a typical record and just felt wrong. It was the picture disc witch looked pretty cool and the fact that the materials felt cheap wasn't a big issue.
The main issue: the tempo of the record was way off. The speed of the music was very slow almost like a "screwed" record. The combination of these factors leads me to believe this item is not legitimate and it was returned. BUYER BEWARE.
This is a legit release. It is on Mass Appeal records which is run by Nas. Nas is on is a friend of Jay E and he is on Def Jam. Def Jam own Roc Nation who signed Jay E. It's on 45RPM not 33RPM so it is the right speed if you play it at the right speed. I would prefer it not to be a picture disc as I'm not a fan but I am just thankful that these two fantastic tracks now exist on vinyl.
Was very disappointed today when I received my Jay Electronica record unsealed and shipped in a box far too big for a 45 with no bubble wrap causing damage to the gatefold. Only reason this gets a star is because the music is amazing.
