From Evangel Christian Academy
Founded in 1980 by Pastors Rodney and Frances Duron, Evangel Christian Academy has grown from a small K-8th grade school to one of the most established and highly-honored K-12th grade schools in the area. Under the leadership of their chancellor, Pastor Denny Duron, Evangel is now teaching over 650 current students to be champions and world-changers.

Evangel has completely changed my life. It is such a special and unique school, there really is no other place like it. There is no other school in the entire world where you will be poured into, mentored, or loved more. No student goes unnoticed or falls through the cracks. When you walk in or enter the campus, you can feel how special it is. The presence of God covers the campus, and He is the center of it all. Evangel teaches kids how to become world changers and leaders, but also teaches and shows kids who Jesus is. I gave my life to Jesus and was saved in an evangel chapel. Kids get to experience Jesus and the freedom of his forgiveness because of this place. it is so cool and so insanely special.
Evangel is a place where kids can feel safe. We have amazing teachers. They are all so eager to help us with any problems even if they don’t involve school. We have great sports programs and devoted coaches. We have the best principal. She is involved and always supporting every event. We don’t have the best music and arts programs because we don’t have a high demand for that.
Evangel has inspired a love of learning, excelling, and becoming the BEST version of me I can be. I have been absolutely blessed to have been able to spend all of my elementary, middle school and high school years here.
