The students never really cared for others well-beings. There are always people vaping in the school either in the bathrooms or hiding in some hall.
It's mostly an average high school, but there is some things that it could be improved on if I want to be truthful. The food here is actually not filling enough and bringing food from home is something I have to do so I can feel full. Although the diversity of this school is worth noting, I know all kinds of kids, so I consider the school to be very diverse to teachers and students.
I have been at Eustis High school since I was a freshman and I would have to say I wouldn't have wanted to be at a different school. I was a cheerleader all four years and have made many friends and gotten to know a lot of different people. The teachers are welcoming and administration listens to what you have to say. I have been to many sports events and the energy that everyone gives is something you never forget. I will be sad when I leave Eustis but it has created many beautiful memories that have contributed to my high school experience.
Eustis High School is a great school. There are many opportunities for you such as many different clubs and sports.
Eustis High School is a great experience. The best part about Eustis is the culture, involvement, and sports. There is not a bad part about Eustis, it is just how you approach everything and carry yourself. One thing that needs to be changed, however, is the academics. Those who dream of becoming doctors, lawyers, or other professions do not have the right resources.
i love the teachers they are really helpful especially during the pandemic where they made it really easy to do everything at home and kept us on track with all of our assignments
The school is decent. It’s really only certain teaches that make the rating higher. It’s not in a great area and there’s not a lot of opportunity, however there are specific AP teachers who are very good and passionate about their jobs. Other than that there are not many positives.
My experience at Eustis Hugh School as new student was okay. It wasn’t bad but it wasn’t all that good. Some students were rude and others nice. Some teachers were rude and most of them I met were nice. The administration was understanding. The LunchLadys/Men were nice and like family ! Overall I had a good experience at the high school, but would I try it again, probably not.
I had no problem with most of the staff working there except maybe one teacher. As for the best experience there as a student, I'd say the alone time to myself and not being bullied for it. I was never seen as a target because I was invisible to many, and I preferred this because I wasn't going to school to socialize; I was going to school to shape my life for future endeavors. As for the worst experience, many of the students were incredibly unkind. While there wasn't any bullying, there wasn't much helping either. Many students wanted to fight one another, smoke in the bathrooms and disrupt teaching lectures. As for the lessons learned in school, I found it difficult to retain anything, and I couldn't help but notice the teachers struggled in teaching the curriculum; neither side enjoyed it. If there were room for someone to improve others' experience, it would be changing the curriculum to give the teachers the freedom to teach in their way; it could be more effective in learning.
it's a great school. Lots of people and cool things. Everyone transfers here. The school lunch is okay but sports are good. The administration isn't too strict and the dress code is basically nonexistent.
It's generally a good-natured school but has flaws needing fixing. Also not very diverse, although that's not its fault.
Eustis is a good school, it offers average classes. Some of the classes are very well such as the advanced placement English and history courses.
What I like about Eustis high is that you get to be yourself no matter what. I love how you get to interact with many different programs/sports and play for the school. It is a very fun school as long as you participate in the activities. Overall it is a very good school in a small town.
I loved my school and the people I was surrounded by. However most of the school cannot say that as they were in the wrong crowd. Overall Eustis is a good place with good teachers the only bad thing about it would have to be some of the negative influences from other students.
My experience at Eustis High school was average. I worked hard and tried to have a positive attitude although I had a lot going on. The teachers were constantly rude and angry and would never let you redo you’re work unless you were a favorite student. I wish they would have better safety protocols and treat their students better. Some teachers were great and helped more than the guidance counselors or vice principal ever did
The regular classes are not very nice, average really. However the ap courses are excellent as are many of the teachers, while the students are average at best the teachers bring to light the true excellence of this school, with their engaging topics and courses the teachers make this school what it is
My experience at Eustis High School was undoubtedly a great one. One thing in particular that stood out to me about Eustis High School was the staff. Whether it is, for example, a teacher or counselor, the staff at Eustis High School is going to take care of you. The teachers at Eustis High School are awesome. My favorite classes were in social studies; the social studies department largely was the reason for this (they, along with the rest of the teaching staff are phenomenal educators and greatly knowledgeable of their subject areas). The counselors are unexplainably helpful; for example, one of the most intimidating things to do is transition from grade school to college; the counselors make sure to take the time to sit down and guide you through the many, new processes. If I could recommend a change, it would simply be to improve the appearance of the campus, but without a doubt, Eustis High School remarkably excels with the resources available. Outstanding school!
