Barcelona midfielder Frenkie De Jong left the field on a stretcher with a right leg injury sustained late in the first half of the match with Real Madrid on Sunday. It remains to be seen how serious the issue is but the early indications did not look good.

Sevilla left-back Adria Pedrosa sustained a quad injury during training on Friday. As a result, he will miss the upcoming match against Mallorca on Monday night and is unlikely to play in the derby against Real Betis next weekend.

Athletic Club Bilbao has been dealt an untimely blow against Granada on Friday. Oscar de Marcos received his fifth yellow card of the La Liga campaign, resulting in a one-game suspension. As a consequence, Ernesto Valverde won't have De Marcos available when they face Atletico Madrid at the Wanda Metropolitano.

Vinicius Jr and Daniel Carvajal were both subbed off during the Manchester City clash, but it seems neither of their knock is serious. The duo was fatigued and could not continue beyond the 100-odd minutes of shift they put in. With Eder Militao also back in action, it leaves Real Madrid without just David Alaba and Thibaut Courtois, who are still nursing their ACL injuries.

Vinicius Junior was taken off injured in the Champions League quarterfinals second leg between Manchester City and Real Madrid on Wednesday. The Brazil winger appeared to hurt his groin during a race to the ball with City defender Kyle Walker in extra time.

Rodrygo scored and impressed in Real Madrid's 3-3 draw with Manchester City but missed training on Friday after picking up a knock. Asked for an update on Rodrygo, manager Carlo Ancelotti confirmed the 23-year-old may even be available for the weekend's clash with Mallorca.

Real Madrid defender Eder Militao is expected to start the match against Mallorca on Saturday. Militao returned to action against Athletic Club but only as a late substitute. Carlo Anclotti did not use the defender against Manchester City.

Valencia attacker Roman Yaremchuk has been diagnosed with an injury to the isquiotibial muscles of his left leg, suffered in the game against Mallorca. It is currently unclear how long Yaremchuk is expected to be sidelined for.

Federico Valverde was taken off towards the end of Real Madrid's game against Athletic Club with what looked like a possible injury. "Fede Valverde? Just a knock," manager Carlo Ancelotti said after the game. "Now we have 2 days of rest and we will recover every player."

Eder Militao is back in the Real Madrid squad for Sunday's La Liga clash with Athletic Bilbao. The Brazil international has not featured since damaging his ACL in the opening match of the campaign. Carlo Ancelotti has revealed that he is considering handing Militao "minutes" against Athletic with a view to potentially starting him against Manchester City in the Champions League on April 9.

Barcelona fans held their collective breath when rumors began circulating about an injury suffered by goalkeeper Marc-Andre ter Stegen during Friday's training session, but there appears to be no reason for concern. "Everyone is fine except Andreas [Christensen], who continues to have discomfort with his Achlles. The thing with Ter Stegen has been a scare. Kounde and Araujo are also fine," said manager Xavi Hernandez.

Real Madrid are relieved to learn that Eduardo Camavinga suffered only a minor injury when the midfielder was forced off in the first half of France's 3-2 win over Chile on Tuesday.
