The only availlable compilation of Sharon Redd's three albums for the Prelude label. Even though the package is a bit dated (release dates from 1994) it's the best way to get hold of what Sharon Redd recorded during her brief carreer as an recording artist. The main tracks from every album are presended here in their original 12" mix which was in most cases the same as the album version or an edited version of it. Most tracks hit #1 on the Bilboard Dance charts. This is what America danced on during the beginning of the 80's in the post-disco area.

I would love to see her original albums being rereleased by a professional label like BBR but until then try get at least this compilation as it might be your last chance to have at least some tracks of every album on one CD. Highly recommended!

The sourcing of the tracks is of a very high quality which is brilliant for us old Hi-Fi users.
Amazing voice of which was tragically cut short and very sadly missed.

Superb selection of Sharon Redd's finest 80's grooves - Every tracks a winner from this much underrated artist, the sound quality on this disc is top-notch - I had forgotten how good many of these tunes were/are, such a shame that she died so young. I would recommend this album to any fan of the 80's club scene. Quality.
