He was predeceased by : his parents, Edward Ayres and Ruth Ayres (Metzger); his wife Mary Elizabeth Ayres; his sisters, Louise, Ruby, Mary, Edna and Isabel; his grandson Andy Beck; and his great grandchild Chance Beck.
He is survived by : his children, Becky Sue Long (David), Terry Ayres (Toni), David Ayres (Sheri) and Dennis Ayres (Annette); his brother Bill Ayres (Clara); and his grandchildren, Tricia Robinson, Trent Ayres, Brad, Bryan, Brendon, Brandt Watrous, Denver, Jason Ayres, Hilari Goris, Halie Harris, Ryan, Andy Ayres, Abbie Richards, Erin Long and Lisa DeSana.
