SuttonĀ Stracke: Erika Jayne’s legal drama ‘inspired’ me to pursue law school

What, like itā€™s hard?

In an exclusive interview with Page Six, Sutton Stracke revealed that she is gearing up for law school after investigating Erika Jayneā€™s legal woes on Season 11 of ā€œThe Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.ā€

ā€œIt was a lot,ā€ Stracke, 50, said of having to discuss Jayneā€™s court-related miseries on camera. “I think when we kind of finished, I was really exhausted and really tired of talking about legal stuff.ā€

Though, the boutique owner added, ā€œI am starting to study with the Princeton Review for my LSATs that Iā€™m going to take. I got a little inspired.ā€

Stracke emphasized that she had dreams of becoming a lawyer long before she was roped into Jayneā€™s alleged involvement in an alleged embezzlement scandal with estranged husband Tom Girardi. The former couple were sued late last year for allegedly mishandling money meant for trauma victims represented by the disgraced attorney.

ā€œWhen I went to college, I wanted to go to law school. I studied political science,ā€ said Stracke, a Georgia native who attended Converse College in South Carolina before moving to New York City to pursue a career in dance. ā€œThat was my plan.ā€

The Bravo star, a self-proclaimed ā€œA studentā€ who eventually made her way to the 90210, continued, ā€œI was going to be this dancing attorney. Weā€™ll see. I might miserably fail my LSATs and not go to law school. But itā€™s something Iā€™m thinking about doing.ā€

Stracke previously asserted that the ā€œPretty Messā€ author, 50, lied while telling ā€œunbelievableā€ stories about Girardi, 82, as the pairā€™s legal drama intensified on the show.

Jayne and Stracke’s feud exploded at a dinner party hosted by Kathy Hilton.

When Stracke expressed this much to Jayne at an explosive dinner party hosted by Kathy Hilton ā€” and asked if she was aware of Girardiā€™s alleged wrongdoings ā€” Jayne told her adversary to ā€œshut the fā€”k upā€ and even threatened legal action.

ā€œIt was really important to me to ask those questions ā€¦ I donā€™t like the feeling of friends not giving me their whole truth. Thatā€™s all I wanted to know,ā€ Stracke said. ā€œErika is very private and very closed. I think, at the time, [she was] going through a lot and probably couldnā€™t give a lot of answers. But I was still going to ask.ā€

Elsewhere in her chat with us, Stracke admitted that her fracas with Jayne has been ā€œfun to watchā€ for “RHOBH” fans, but pointed out that ā€œthis is not a gameā€ for Girardiā€™s alleged victims.

Stracke said it’s “important to remember” the alleged victims of Tom Girardi. Instagram

ā€œItā€™s important to remember that there are serious victims out there that need help, that need surgeries and itā€™s just important to remember that,ā€ she said of those impacted by 2018ā€™s Lion Air Flight 610 crash and a 2010 California gas explosion.

ā€œThis is not a joke ā€¦ They arenā€™t on a reality show,ā€ added Stracke. ā€œTheyā€™re at home in serious conditions. Thatā€™s all I want to say about it. They need to be remembered.ā€

Part two of the ā€œReal Housewives of Beverly Hillsā€ reunion airs Wednesday, Oct. 20, at 8 p.m. ET on Bravo.
