What, like itās hard?
In an exclusive interview with Page Six, Sutton Stracke revealed that she is gearing up for law school after investigating Erika Jayneās legal woes on Season 11 of āThe Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.ā
āIt was a lot,ā Stracke, 50, said of having to discuss Jayneās court-related miseries on camera. “I think when we kind of finished, I was really exhausted and really tired of talking about legal stuff.ā
Though, the boutique owner added, āI am starting to study with the Princeton Review for my LSATs that Iām going to take. I got a little inspired.ā
Stracke emphasized that she had dreams of becoming a lawyer long before she was roped into Jayneās alleged involvement in an alleged embezzlement scandal with estranged husband Tom Girardi. The former couple were sued late last year for allegedly mishandling money meant for trauma victims represented by the disgraced attorney.
āWhen I went to college, I wanted to go to law school. I studied political science,ā said Stracke, a Georgia native who attended Converse College in South Carolina before moving to New York City to pursue a career in dance. āThat was my plan.ā
The Bravo star, a self-proclaimed āA studentā who eventually made her way to the 90210, continued, āI was going to be this dancing attorney. Weāll see. I might miserably fail my LSATs and not go to law school. But itās something Iām thinking about doing.ā
Stracke previously asserted that the āPretty Messā author, 50, lied while telling āunbelievableā stories about Girardi, 82, as the pairās legal drama intensified on the show.
When Stracke expressed this much to Jayne at an explosive dinner party hosted by Kathy Hilton ā and asked if she was aware of Girardiās alleged wrongdoings ā Jayne told her adversary to āshut the fāk upā and even threatened legal action.
āIt was really important to me to ask those questions ā¦ I donāt like the feeling of friends not giving me their whole truth. Thatās all I wanted to know,ā Stracke said. āErika is very private and very closed. I think, at the time, [she was] going through a lot and probably couldnāt give a lot of answers. But I was still going to ask.ā
Elsewhere in her chat with us, Stracke admitted that her fracas with Jayne has been āfun to watchā for “RHOBH” fans, but pointed out that āthis is not a gameā for Girardiās alleged victims.
āItās important to remember that there are serious victims out there that need help, that need surgeries and itās just important to remember that,ā she said of those impacted by 2018ās Lion Air Flight 610 crash and a 2010 California gas explosion.
āThis is not a joke ā¦ They arenāt on a reality show,ā added Stracke. āTheyāre at home in serious conditions. Thatās all I want to say about it. They need to be remembered.ā
Part two of the āReal Housewives of Beverly Hillsā reunion airs Wednesday, Oct. 20, at 8 p.m. ET on Bravo.
