Eric Angle is in need of a life-saving kidney transplant, and his younger brother Kurt is desperate to help his best friend. "If I did not have my older brother Eric, I would not have won the states, I would not have won the NCAAs, I would not have won the Olympics," Kurt Angle said. Kurt Angle said he is not a donor match for his brother but has been able to share his brother's story on social media. He is directing possible living donors to the transplant institute at the University of Pittsburgh. The average wait time is five years, making the support of Eric's inner circle critical to his physical and emotional wellbeing during the wait. "I am so blessed to have him and my wife, and if I did not have those two people I would be screwed. I would be literally screwed because I could not do this alone," Eric Angle said. "He is not ready to go, and I do not want to see him go yet. He has a lot of life left in him, and he has a lot left to prove in his life, so I want to be there and help him the way he helped me," Kurt Angle said.
