World Cup: Emmanuel Petit picks 3 players who are the future of England

Arsenal hero, Emmanuel Petit has identified Phil Foden, Bukayo Saka and Jude Bellingham as the future of England following their opening 2022 FIFA World Cup win against Iran.

Recall that England thrashed Iran 6-2 in Qatar on November 21, with Bellingham and Saka scoring for the Three Lions, while Foden also impressed.

“I am very impressed with him [Saka] as a person and a player. He is a humble guy, a hard worker, and respectful. He keeps focused on his ambitions,” Petit told Compare Bet.

“After everything he has been through – the criticism and the racism, he has been incredible on and off the pitch.

“He is the future of Arsenal and the future of England. He, Bellingham and Foden are the future of the England team.”

Saka, Bellingham and Foden will hope to continue their impressive display for England when they face the USA in their next game on Friday.
