The teenage daughter of two-time Oscar-winning actress Dianne Wiest, the former district attorney on TV’s “Law & Order,” pleaded guilty to petty larceny in New York state court Monday.

Emily Wiest, 18, was charged with two counts of second-degree robbery stemming from a dispute near the exclusive Manhattan private school she attended when she allegedly beat up a 16-year-old male student and stole his sunglasses and iPod music player.

Wiest will be sentenced Aug. 4 to two days’ community service and must pay a fine of $150, according to terms spelled out in a hearing in the courtroom of Judge ShawnDyan Simpson.

Dianne Wiest has numerous film credits, including several Woody Allen movies. She won Oscars for best supporting actress for her performance in Allen’s “Bullets Over Broadway” and ”Hannah and Her Sisters.”
