After addressing her estranged husband Armie Hammer's ongoing scandal involving allegations of adultery, abuse, and cannibalism, it seems that Elizabeth Chambers is trying to create a fresh start for herself, beginning by spiritually cleansing her workspace.

The TV personality and Bird Bakery founder seemed to throw a little shade at her ex on her Instagram Stories on Tuesday, posting a boomerang of her office set-up that showed her laptop balanced on top of a pile of books for her next Zoom meeting alongside a lit candle and two lit bundles of sage with the caption, “and also, how much sage is too much sage? asking for a friend obv.” For centuries, burning sage has been used in spiritual rituals amongst indigenous peoples to cleanse a person or space of negative energy.

This post comes almost a week after Chambers first broke her silence , in a way, on the troubling stories surrounding Hammer's private life, stories the actor has dismissed as “bullshit claims,” while simultaneously stepping away from his roles in both a new Jennifer Lopez action-comedy and The Godfather prequel. Last Friday, Chambers commented “No. Words.” under a Just Jared Instagram post announcing that Timothée Chalamet and the Call Me by Your Name director, Luca Guadagnino, are reportedly working on a cannibal love story film without Chalamet's CMBYN costar, Hammer.

However, on Tuesday, Chambers seemed to once again discover those words she'd previously lost, penning a length statement on Instagram vaguely addressing everything that's transpired since she and Hammer first announced their divorce in July 2020 after a decade of marriage.

“For weeks, I’ve been trying to process everything that has transpired,” she wrote. “I am shocked, heartbroken, and devastated. Heartbreak aside, I am listening, and will continue to listen and educate myself on these delicate matters. I didn’t realize how much I didn’t know. I support any victim of assault or abuse and urge anyone who has experienced this pain to seek the help she or he needs to heal.” She added, “At this time, I will not be commenting further on this matter. My sole focus and attention will continue to be on our children, on my work and on healing during this incredibly difficult time. Thank you for all of the love and support, and thank you in advance for your continued kindness, respect, and consideration for our children and me as we find ways to move forward,” signing off her message “EC.”
