    Another great experience at a top-notch St Louis eatery. Service, ambience, and the food was really fine. And recognizing my wife's birthday was a nice gesture. Our entire group was very happy with the Bristol!

    Had the scallops, oyster Rockefeller, and sea bass. They were all 10/10, absolutely no complaints.

    The food was excellent and the wait staff was friendly and competent! We went to dinner on Tuesday, and it was quite quiet! We had a lovely dinner.

    We’ve eaten here so many times over the years. This is the first time we’ve ever left feeling disappointed. We ordered the platter that comes with all kinds of different seafood. We get it every time. We love it! The oysters were small and not great. The shrimp was chewy, almost inedible. The lobster and crab legs were great! The shrimp scampi was good. The Bang Bang shrimp was really underwhelming and I’m not sure I would get that again. All of the main courses were just so far off from what we typically expect. I ordered the surf and turf, with a 6 oz filet and crab cakes. The filet was the thinnest filet I’ve ever seen. The Brussel sprouts were so undercooked that I couldn’t chew them. I like them crispy but these were borderline raw. Another member of our party ordered the Cowboy Ribeye. It came out undercooked. Ordered it medium and it came out medium rare. The same thing happened with another persons Scallops entree. The larger of the scallops were cooked perfectly but the small ones were way overcooked and the risotto was on the bland side. The timing of the dishes coming out was way off, too….to the point of feeling rushed. We ordered 4 appetizers and 3 of our party also ordered soups/salads. The main course was coming out before we had finished…like, way before. Since we’ve had so many great experiences here, we’ll certainly give it another go soon. I just hope this isn’t a sign of things to come.

    Celebrated a 96th Birthday! We were pleased to be seated in a private area that could be closed with curtains. Food was excellent. What really made it terrific was server, Rebecca.... we have not had that kind of attentive (without being annoying) service in a long time. She was fun, informative, cheerful and a joy. She is a real asset to the restaurant!

    It was very good, not perfect, but the fact that it was quite quiet and that the service was excellent made it a very good choice for us. Seems pretty pricey for what you get, but I did appreciate the coupon that was sent in advance. I would go back!

    The salad and the Brussels sprouts were not up to par. Brussels sprouts were very hard (under cooked) and taste less. The salad had very little lettuce for what paid for them.

    We always have a great time here. Our server was exceptional. He introduced himself at the beginning, then told us to ask for him when we returned the next time. His own personal touch.

    First time for Sunday Brunch. We were wowed by the fresh seafood, especially the oysters on the half shell, shrimp and the tuna was fantastic! Didn't have room for dessert but had the carrot cake, panna cotta and the bread pudding anyway. :)

    The waitress couldn’t have been nicer. Two of the meals were good, one was bad. So bad, I would think long before I’d go back. Once again, the waitress was great. Where we were seated was loud with kitchen noise and disruptive to a quality time dining.
