Jackie Kennedy called daughter Caroline's husband a 'boring old fogey and an egghead'
Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis called her daughter Caroline's husband 'egghead' and said he was a 'boring old fogey' behind his back, according to reports.
The former First Lady's name calling was a result of her mistrust of Ed Schlossberg, who is 12 years older than Caroline.
Her open contempt for Mr Schlossberg ended when Caroline threatened to cut Jackie off from her grandchildren.

The National Enquirer says singer Carly Simon is set reveal the feud between Jackie and her only daughter in a new book.
Caroline, 54, an attorney and author, is the only surviving child of President John F Kennedy and Jackie.
She met Mr Schlossberg, now 66, an architect and museum exhibit designer, while working at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in Manhattan.
Jackie Kennedy hoped her daughter would lose interest in Mr Schlossberg and move on to a more exciting partner.

Bombshell: The claim comes from a forthcoming book that singer Carly Simon is writing
'And she was horrified when Caroline announced she was going to marry him,' a source told the Enquirer.
She continued to badmouth Mr Schlossberg in the run-up to the wedding until Caroline put her foot down.
'Caroline finally told Jackie "I'm marrying him, like it or not. You don't even have to be there. But you won't see your grandchildren if you don't accept their father,"' the source told the supermarket tabloid.
Jackie relented, but continued to call her new son-in-law an 'egghead' and an 'old fogey.'
The revelations are from a tell-all book that 1960s folk singer Carly Simon is writing for Random House.
The Enquirer's source in the publishing industry claimed the book would drop 'bombshell after bombshell.'
The Enquirer claims Simon, now 67, became one of Jackie's closest confidants after they met on Martha's Vineyard in 1978.
Jackie died in 1994.
'Carly has lived an outrageous life and knows some of the hottest, best-kept secrets of the rich and famous,' the source told the magazine.
