Living in Edinburgh | Edinburgh College of Art Skip to main content

Edinburgh is renowned across the world for its beauty and history, and its position as Scotland’s capital city.

Home to around 100,000 students, it’s a diverse and welcoming place, full of history, green spaces and atmosphere.

It’s also compact and with good transport links and infrastructure – trams, buses and cycle lanes – exploring the city is always an option for when you’re enjoying some time away from your studies.
