Novel and fun experience

Saw an ad for the place in the airport restroom and knew I had to try it. I'm a closet nudist but never had the opportunity to do something like this. Went the first night with my wife and stripped nude as soon as I got there, but was still too inhibited to do much but sit on the periphery and watch. The second night we went I lost all inhibitions and got out on the dance floor naked and had a great time. I should mention that I'm over 60 and not particularly hung, but the responses to my nudism were uniformly positive. It was a little chilly, so not too many people there and the security encouraged me to continue dancing to encourage others. When standing on the side-lines, had friendly conversation with several other people, both nude and clothed. Drinks were strong and reasonably priced. Wife never got up the courage to exhibit, but still had a great time. Maybe next time I can get her to show off some of her great curves!

Cool bar in Key West

We went in and had a couple of beers in the first floor. The bartender was attentive and polite. The vibe at the time we went was great with live music and locals being very friendly. Another good thing we enjoyed is that you can smoke in the first floor because the room is very open. We will come back if we visit Key West again.

Gotta pop in at least once, it's a fun crowd!

Fun crowd! Popped in a couple of nights a week back at the advice of some couples we met. There's a mix of old, young, fit, round, and everything in between. Note, there were literally zero people wearing masks, but it's an open-air roof top and plenty of space. Leave your tude at the door and have fun!

Very bad service

Came to bar, tried to order drinks for 5 of us, no lie took 20 minutes for the male bartender with dred locks to even look at me, ordered 5 drinks- 3 beers and two mixed drinks, the three beers he pulled out of a cooler, made 2 drinks. Cost $32, gave him $40 told him to just give me $5 back. $3 tip, yes probably cheap but he literally ignored me for 20 minutes. But he gave me $8 back and said if you’re gonna tip me $3 on a 5 drink order you can keep it. Am I wrong to think that was rude of him. We probably would have stayed and ordered more drinks but after that, no way. We all left and took our business elsewhere.

No Longer What it Was

Have a DJ that can read the crowd. If he begins by playing 10 rap songs in a row, same beat, same rhythm, no one dances, more people depart than enter, change the music, try old time rock and roll, Swiftie stuff, something different. I know it was “off season” but certainly not the place it was 10 or 12 years ago. Do something folks, you’re going to be unemployed soon. $10 per person cover now, seemingly assessed at some point between 7pm and 10pm, supposedly based on crowd side but it was empty when we went up and they were assessing it. Definitely now a not-worth-going-to kind of place.

Security is running people off right and left

Security is running people off, just rude, yelling for people just standing around drinking beer. They seem to allow their same race friends to get away with a lot on the dance floor but harass people just standing around. The place has really gone down hill in the last 5 years.

Best bar and bartenders on the island!

This is by far one of my favorite spots to visit. I popped my Garden of Eden cherry last year and since then I have loved coming back every time I’m in town. Not only is it a fun, laidback environment, the staff is amazing! We’ve been there a handful of times these past few years but they still remember our orders and make us feel welcome like longtime regulars.

They have a strict rule of no cell phones, and the staff also does a great job of enforcing that rule to ensure everyone’s privacy.

I’ve seen reviews online trashing the business or talking down on the customers but all I have to say is, if nudity makes you uncomfortable, then this is obviously not the place for you. Nobody forces you to get nude or harasses you. All colors, shapes, and sizes are welcome. We love the inclusivity and diversity.

In the daytime they play classic rock and some hits from the 70s/80s and at night they have a Dj come in and play a variety of music from edm to reggaeton to today’s top hits. Either way they have great music for all different crowds to enjoy.

During Fantasy Fest the bar gets pretty packed with people but the bartenders do an upstanding job of getting orders and serving drinks. Dougie, Sonic, Hog and Michelle are some of our favorite bartenders that we’ve gotten to know. These people are industry PRO’s and they are seriously such hard workers. They excel at their craft and make sure everyone is well taken care of. We come to get naked but stay for marvelous bartenders. Keep up the stellar work guys!!! We appreciate you guys so much. Thank you!

This was a fun rooftop bar that certainly has an added flare. No doubt, the fact that clothes really are optional at the bar could be a fun experience for you. If you go, you should be ready to get naked so you can fit in and not be the creepy people. I would recommend you bring a towel or sit on your clothes, maybe that might make you feel better. It is a cool little oasis on Duval because of all the plants around the edge of the bar. The later you go the more wild it could get. Overall, I'll be sure to come back here if I'm back in Key West. We had a fun time.

Hidden up on the third floor of The Bull Restaurant is a unique bar and dance floor. Yup. Clothing is optional. Makes for an interesting evening with your date. Have fun and don't do anything I wouldn't do. 😏

One extremely rude, white male with dreadlocks bartender ruined our night

My wife and I celebrated our 40th anniversary with a seven day trip to Key West. Overall, the vacation was wonderful except for one experience; our short time spent at Garden of Eden bar on the night of March 18th, 2022. We started with a couple of beers at the Bull and Whistle bar downstairs. Bartenders, music, and customers were great. Around 11 pm we decided to walk upstairs and check out the Garden of Eden. There was a $10 cover, which is fine. We arrived upstairs and stopped to get a beer at the first bar we saw (top of the steps). I ordered two beers for a total of $11.50. Pulled out a credit card and the bartender rudely shouted "it's cash only". I pulled out a $20 and handed to him. He brought back my $8.50 in change. I moved the change close to me on my side of the bar and set my beer on top of it. Shortly thereafter I saw that it was gone. I asked if he had taken my $8.50, he again shouted "YES!! That's what I do! Pick up cash on the bar". I pointed out it was near me and underneath my cup. I wondered who tips 75% for being served two beers? I calmly asked if I could have my $8.50 back. He leaned over the bar, inches from my face and screamed "You're an A$$HOLE". I calmly repeated my request three more times. Each time he screamed "A$$hole". Then, he returned my $8.50 and we left. He was white male with dreadlocks. For the short time we were up there I can tell you the bar was crowded. 99% of the people were fully clothed. Fortunately, this was the one and only bad experience we had with anyone on our 7 days spent in Key West, but it truly was an awful experience. One other side note; I have written multiple reviews on here over the years. This is the first bad review I've given.
