The Butterfield Blues Band* – East-West

VERY high noise floor on this pressing. Not sure what's going on, but my copy while in the lead-in and silent bands between songs ROARS. Not with surface noise, but with just a low vinyl sound.

One of the best pressings in my collection. Crystal clear - excellent dynamics. The blue vinyl is a nice touch too. I’ll look out for more of these Sundazed pressings.

Nice sound, crisp and loud. Mastering is high and the stereo separation is really detailed and precised. Bass really punch

Lovely sound on this. Jerome's Bass is warm and satisfying, and Mike's guitar cuts through like a hornet sting!

Picked one of these up that would have been “visually graded” a VG but it played VG+ with very little noise at all. This is the positive side why visual grading should be taken with a grain of salt. This Allentown mono is as good as the Monarch mono. Very vibrant and the rhythm section comes out with Bloomfield and Butterfield. I prefer the mono over the stereo but this is an album to have both. Classic.

I am a bit surprised I am the 1st reviewer on this classic Monarch mono pressing. WOW!! Powerful and clear as a bell. The stereo is great, this mono is off the charts. I am sure this is an album you can’t go wrong with but my God this is a step beyond. A must have in your collection but is another classic where you need the stereo, too.

An underrated blues rock gem. A favorite album of Alice Cooper.

Incredible pressing! The sound on this vinyl is too-notch and the dynamics are insane. Kevin Gray once again hits it out of the park. Bloomfield’s solos are scorching and Butterfield’s harp is commanding. Haven’t heard many of pressings of this album, but I can’t imagine any sounding much better than this Speakers Corner release—get one while you can!

I'm happy with this pressing. Mike Bloomfield's screaming guitar sounds great!

Although undated the label indicates an early repress. The dynamics and punch are all there. I really dig the music and
IF a first pressing or all analog version like Speakers Corner are better , they sure aren't a bigger value.
