Joey A It's a very confusing movie, with no story line. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 02/18/24 Full Review jlc172 _ I totally love this movie, since I watched it by chance on past midnight TV it's been within my all times Top 10 Favorites, I've bought it on DVD, downloaded it and my wildest dream is watching it on cinema someday; it's so great that I never get boried of watching it again and again: it's extremely funny, has an awesome soundtrack, an amazing cast (including even the legendary Angelyne in what must be her only appearance on big screen), is a unique visual experience that encapsulates everything that made the 80's the best decade in the history of pop culture. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/17/24 Full Review marz Suuuuuper cool flick, a great watch that almost never gets old Rated 4 out of 5 stars 02/15/24 Full Review Ken E I thought to myself, it can't be that bad it has such a solid cast. I've never been more wrong, at no point was there anything resembling a coherent plot. Phobe Rated 1 out of 5 stars 11/14/23 Full Review Rebecca B Silly and brainless- a fun watch! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 04/22/23 Full Review Andre G I thought it would be funny with Jim Carey in it. That's the only reason I bought it. I didn't think it would be a Musical. A bad one at that. Alonso Duralde Linoleum Knife As funny and silly as ever, it's even more interesting to watch as a period piece, exulting in the dream of the San Fernando Valley of the 1980s. Jan 19, 2015 Full Review Variety Staff Variety Intended by director Julian Temple and his screenwriters to affectionately skewer Tinseltown lifestyles. Dec 14, 2008 Full Review Time Out This is deliberately, gleefully vacuous entertainment, and any satirical edge is blunted by the film's obvious affection for its subject. Jan 26, 2006 Full Review Rene Jordan El Nuevo Herald (Miami) This is a movie that raises its bad taste as a defiant banner, which will have sworn defenders and staunch enemies. [Full review in Spanish] Jun 27, 2022 Full Review Saffron Maeve Film Inquiry Earth Girls Are Easy manages to both subvert and give in to the conventions of its time, creating a work so singularly absurd and campy, you can't not enjoy it.
