How customer reviews and ratings work
Customer Reviews, including Product Star Ratings help customers to learn more about the product and decide whether it is the right product for them.
To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don’t use a simple average. Instead, our system considers things like how recent a review is and if the reviewer bought the item on Amazon. It also analyzed reviews to verify trustworthiness.

This album contains many of Stevie Wonder's childhood hits. This man's body of work is incomparable in the modern era of music, and this collection of recordings highlights the origins of Stevie Wonder's greatness. It is a "must" for anyone whom is a fan of his work.

I brought this CD to get a copy of the song titled "LOIS", it was listed that you had to buy cd to get the song, and It is not on the CD, I wanted it for the mother groom dance at my wedding, very disappointed!

Thank you Motown for Early Classics. On each of these we get rare classics that seemingly cannot be found anywhere else. In this case it's Fingertips 1&2 and With A Child's Heart. Stevie mesmerizes us. Again, thank you Motown.

I just ordered this, and it's a fine sampler confining itself to Wonder's 60s output, stopping at the far end of '69 with "Yester Me/You/Day." I've probably got eighty percent on vinyl already, but 'Motown hunger' is insatiable.
Early Classics is most welcome, but it's only a beginning. Wonder is one of Motown's artists (much like Marvin Gaye) who really warrants two boxed sets - one showcasing the prolific member of Hitsville's 'Production Line' days in the 1960s, and one for the Independent Artist he'd become in the 70s and beyond (ditto for Mr. Gaye). In both cases, when Motown tries to harness either man to one boxed set, one era or the other gets neglected to the chagrin of their fans. Like others mention, I too could wish here for "Lois" and "Purple Rain Drops," and they're exactly the kind of items that get neglected when a big set still needs to fit in selections from "Innervisions," "Talking Book," "Songs In The Key..." and all that followed.
Till Motown hears us, I guess it's catch as catch can, but Early Classics is an admirable effort.
P.S.: "Teach Me Tonight," originally from 1966's "Uptight" album, is actually a duet of Stevie and the Four Tops' Levi Stubbs. Nowhere on the jacket was this noted, you got the surprise when you played the record. But nobody mistakes the Tops' frontman.

Worth buying just for Ebb Tide. Steve plays harmonica and you can hear a classic with bits that seem to remind you of other songs,it is absolutely brilliant. I'd not heard it before and I'm a long standing fan of Stevie's. There's a few other good tracks but most of them you'd have to be an avid fan to enjoy.
