WAITE PARK — Country singer Dwight Yoakam will return to the Ledge Amphitheater stage in August. The Ledge announced this week that Yoakam will perform Saturday, Aug. 10, with the country music band the Mavericks, according to a news release.

Yoakam performed at the Ledge in May 2023. Yoakam released his debut album in 1986. His most recent album, “Swimmin’ Pools, Movie Stars,” was released in 2016.
His hits include “Fast as You,” “Honky Tonk Man,” “A Thousand Miles From Nowhere” and “Ain’t That Lonely Yet.”

The Mavericks
The Mavericks were founded in Miami in 1989, earning hits and critical acclaim in the 1990s. After nearly a decade hiatus, the band returned in 2012.
The band's top hits include “Dance the Night Away,” “All You Ever Do is Bring Me Down,” and “Here Comes My Baby.”
Their most recent album, “Moon & Stars” will be released in May.
