My biggest issue was bug bites.Written August 15, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- TMTATLAtlanta, GA8 contributionsYou want to learn it? Spruill probably has a class for it! I've been taking classes from them since 2006. The instructors are highly talented, super knowledgeable, very nice and generous to a fault. I would highly recommend taking a class or even getting your feet wet with a workshop. Try it, but I warn you, you'll be hooked!Written January 22, 2017This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Donna DAtlanta, GA98 contributionsI booked a massage & facial for my Birthday at the Woodhouse Spa in Buckhead, GA. I was not disappointed!
The staff were professional and got me right in for my appt even though I was 1 hour early so I could park/relax before my scheduled treatments. I'm a plus size girl & many times I have issues with spa robes not closing properly or not having the right size, I asked the attendant for better size and she was very accommodating & gave me a robe that fit just right. If you're plus size like me, ask for the larger robe when booking by phone as it will be ready for you in your assigned locker!
I really like how the lockers have our name inside of them along with our robes and shoes so we aren't scurrying to find robes and shoes. The custom welcome happy birthday sign on the front desk was a very nice touch on my special day!!
Carmesha gave an excellent massage! Mara did an amazing facial! Highly recommend!!
Pros: beautiful modern & clean Spa! It's aesthetically pleasing and the oils used smell heavenly, you'll want to take them home! The sauna is complimentary with service and the spa waiting room had a fire place and was quite relaxing with snacks and fresh flavored water. I was offered Champaign and it was so delicious and relaxing!
Cons: there were a few bangs/loud contractor noises going around either in the building or next rooms that were a little disrupting during both services. It wasn't constant thankfully - but it was obnoxious. Also, You have to pay 50% deposit when booking services. I have 4 stars for the noise issue.
Tips: be sure to park in the garage- it's free! I didn't know and paid for parking on the street. Also, make sure you book on the phone when it's your birthday - so they can make your experience custom - when booking online there's nowhere to state it's your Birthday, so it looks like a regular appt.Written February 27, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. We brought some cheese and cold cuts from Kroger. Our instructor was fabulous. The other people to join just for charming. Everyone wore a mask. Our artwork is hanging up prominently in my living room.Written July 1, 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
