I've only moved to Texas from Louisiana, but I'm already starting to like the new high school than my previous one. Comparing both high schools in terms of diversity, academics, size, school lunch, and student life, I'd say Dulles clearly has the high ground.
It's really diverse with students from all around the world. The curriculum is so well taught and the teachers even offer tutoring for their respective subjects. Dulles is also pretty big and can contain numerous classes for numerous subjects, some of which I never knew existed. The lunch is fine but you can actually pick snacks along with you. Finally, the student life is actually one of the chilliest I've ever seen. I've rarely seen fights, maybe 1 per 3 months.
However, in terms of athletics and student-teacher relationship, my previous high school gets those points here.
With that being said, Dulles is a really good high school if you want to go to college or just show jobs that you are credible.

Overall, i had a pretty great experience at Dulles High School. The school is kept very clean and is staffed with amazing teachers. Since it is the oldest school in our district, sometimes it can feel a little dated compared to the newer schools in our district. Our school spirit isn't at an all time high because our sports teams don't preform the best, but school events were still fun for me to attend.
My child is a freshman at Dulles and is involved with the Theatre program. What a great experience they have had this year. The theatre teacher is a dynamo and has a knack for finding talent in the school. She is easy to approach and takes an interest in each and every student. As a freshman, our child has performed and has had speaking roles in several plays. The plays are choreographed by the students and are no joke. We are blown away by just how good the students are at the High School. There is great talent here in this program. From acting, to dancing, singing, tech, set design, choreography, etc. students are able to be as hands on as they wish. There is a lot of time involved, which we didn't realize coming into it - it's not the typical school performances of my day (late 80s/early 90s). We love Mrs. Duga.
In addition to the theatre program, the teachers have been top notch and very approachable. We are very happy with Dulles High School.
