The base of this statuette group has inscribed two Gaulish names, but the syntax is Latin: Deae Artioni / Licinia Sabinilla [To the Goddess Artio (or Artionis), from Licinia Sabinilla.] The goddess' name derives from the Gaulish word 'artos', bear. 2/

The group includes representations of the gods Jupiter, Juno, Minerva, Naria, Artio and a Lar. The ensemble includes the only known representations of the Gallo-Roman goddesses Artio and Naria. They can be seen in the Historical Museum of Bern. Photos by Sandstein/Wikimedia. 3/
