Warner Bros. TV and actor Dougray Scott have denied former Batwoman star Ruby Rose‘s allegations about the working conditions she faced on the CW series, which she departed last year after just one season.

Yesterday, Rose took to her Instagram stories to open up at length about the reported difficulties she faced while filming Season 1, from being forced to return to work just 10 days after undergoing surgery for an on-set injury, to allegedly witnessing cast and crew members behave inappropriately behind-the-scenes.

In a statement to The Wrap on Wednesday, Warner Bros. TV said, “Despite the revisionist history that Ruby Rose is now sharing online aimed at the producers, the cast and crew, the network, and the Studio, the truth is that Warner Bros. Television had decided not to exercise its option to engage Ruby for Season 2 of Batwoman based on multiple complaints about workplace behavior that were extensively reviewed and handled privately out of respect for all concerned.”

Among the allegations, Rose said the show’s producers were responsible for multiple on-set injuries, from a serious neck injury, broken rib, and tumor she sustained to an incident that left a stunt performer quadriplegic. She also alleged that her former costar Scott (who played her on-screen father, Jacob Kane) “abused women” on-set.

“Dougray hurt a female stunt double, he yelled like a little bitch at women and was a nightmare,” Rose wrote. “He left when he wanted and arrived when he wanted. He abused women and in turn as a lead of a show I sent an email asking for a no yelling policy, they declined.”

Scott responded with a statement of his own on Wednesday. “I absolutely and completely refute the defamatory and damaging claims made against me by [Ruby Rose]; they are entirely made up and never happened,” he said. “As Warner Bros. Television has stated, they decided not to exercise the option to engage Ruby for Season 2… based on multiple complaints about her workplace behavior.”

On Instagram, Rose shared a series of photos and videos of the injuries she sustained while working on the series, adding that she has enough documentation to “make a 1-hour documentary.”

“I will come for you so what happened to me never happened again,” she wrote, addressing the CW and Batwoman bosses. “I can finally take back my life and the truth. Shame on you.”
