Donkey Punch begins as a promising thriller, but loses credibility while adhering too closely to genre conventions.

Audience Member Solid thriller with some unexpected turns. Although the tensions and relationships between the characters could have been more developed, it was a good story overall. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 06/03/21 Full Review matthew b But where's the donkey? Very misleading. All jokes aside, this is a pretty vile movie with it's main goal to shock you than anything else. Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 03/30/23 Full Review Audience Member Never watched it. Just wanted it off my watchlist. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 01/15/23 Full Review Audience Member Sorta loses its edge at the end, but nonetheless still a pretty solid thriller. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 02/05/23 Full Review Audience Member Okay but this was super funny, and it feels like it was unintentional but something tells me making a movie about privileged white kids backstabbing each other means the laughs were intentional. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 01/27/23 Full Review Audience Member Three British women on vacation in Spain hook up with four guys who work on a yacht and the consumption of lots of drugs and alcohol ensues. The titular made-up sex act is talked about (it involves smacking someone on the back of the head at the moment of climax) and soon actual sex ensues. One of the boys tries the sex act and accidentally kills the girl. All hell breaks loose. So how good can a horror movie named after a made-up sex act be? Well ... it's not terrible. It's perfectly serviceable as a film where bad people you don't really care about do bad things to each other until barely anyone is left. It drags at times (the sex sequence is particularly egregiously long if surprisingly explicit ... the two things almost balance each other out) and characters do amazingly stupid things, but it kind of works if you aren't being too picky. I wasn't at the time. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 02/01/23 Full Review Read all reviews Post a rating
