What Is Amazon Kids+?

Amazon Kids+ is an all-in-one subscription that provides kids access to thousands of age-appropriate entertaining and educational content. It also allows parents to set parental controls.

The Amazon Kids+ subscription offers books, movies, and TV shows for your kids aged 3 - 12 years. You can access this content from the Amazon Kids+ app on your compatible Android / iOS devices. Content is also available on Amazon devices registered to the account.

Amazon Kids+ Content

Amazon Kids+ app allows parents to adjust settings so kids don't see ads, In-App purchases, or links to external websites and social media.

Content will appear in your child's profile when you connect your device to a wireless network. You can download this content for offline use on Amazon Devices. On Android, iOS and Amazon Glow devices, you need an internet connection to use the content. You can't download the content.

Sign up and Pay for Amazon Kids+ subscription

Navigate to your regional Amazon Kids+ page to subscribe. Select your desired plan from the top-right corner. At the end of your promotional trial, we'll automatically charge your card on a monthly basis. If you received a promotional 1-year subscription as part of your Kids Edition Device purchase, your preferred payment method will renew automatically. Renewal will happen at the end of the subscription period at the applicable monthly rate. You’ll be able to set up a one-time email reminder 3 days before your subscription renews:

  1. Go to Your Memberships & Subscriptions and select Amazon Kids+.
  2. Toggle Remind me on the right side of the Current Plan.

You'll need a valid payment method to sign up and pay for the Amazon Kids+ subscription. You can't use an Amazon Gift Card or Amazon Store Card.

For iOS, you can subscribe to Amazon Kids+ and manage your account through iTunes. See Amazon Kids+ on iOS App Store for more information.

Tip: If you're having trouble signing up for the Amazon Kids+ subscription, ensure that your device is on the latest software version.

Child profiles that are inactive for more than 18 months are automatically removed. You'll no longer be able to access a child profile after it is removed. To remove a child profile, or to manage inactive child profile removal, go to your child profile's information page here.
