Marc Girard, a Swiss police officer, comes from a well-to-do family. His brother is a prominent banker. A single father, he has trusted his own daughter to his mother, who lives in opulent splendor and only wants his son to get out of his present occupation and come to his senses to her side, and lead a normal life. Alas, that is not going to happen any time soon because he has been asked to work in apprehending a criminal man involved with a criminal element, who has been able to elude the police's best efforts to trap him.

Marc gets a new identity, that of an Italian entrepreneur that will help the authorities get to the bottom of the illegal activities. Girard gets lucky when he meets the lovely Helena Brancusi, a former top model associated with the man the police wants, Simon Wenger. Helena's addiction to drugs was her downfall, but she is key in getting Marc involved with a Turkish woman, whose father has been exporting cocaine to the rest of Europe. Unknown to Marc Girard, he will have to deal with a dirty D.A. who is the connection to the Turkish mafia, as well as the shock of seeing someone close to him in a key role of this operation.

"Dirty Money, Undercover" is the type of film that uses different locales to show the action. We are taken all over Europe as our hero goes after the bad guys. Directed by Domenique Othenin-Girard, a man that works a lot on television, and based on a screenplay by Julien Sarfati, the film tries to involve the viewer into its convoluted screenplay. The casting of Antoine Basler as Marc Girard shows an unlikely man to confront the criminals out there.
