I was just browsing YouTube tonight, watching random gun videos and just thought to myself how many guntubers I don't seem to care for, for various reasons. Any popular guntubers that just rub you the wrong way?

I was trying to watch Nutnfancy's review of the Hellion the other night, but he spent the first ten minutes ranting about how Springfield didn't send him one for T&E and that anyone that got one was probably paid off. Literally a third of the "review".
Nutnfancy is one of the ones who needs to learn how to script and edit. He has 45 minute videos that have hardly 4 minutes of useful content in them, and the rest is just tangential rambling that’s vaguely (not) related to the topic. If he cut 90-95% of the useless rambling out he probably could be fairly solid.
Agreed, but I like the reviews once they actually start. I like how the actual review is always the same format, and (not sure if he still does this) the competitive options.'

Other than that I don’t actively dislike anyone but I wouldn’t go out of my way to watch a lot of them. Especially demo ranch. Seems like a cool guy but his videos give me a headache.
He did a test on damage to a human torso while wearing armor which I thought would’ve been useful. Until he didn’t test any practically calibers that 99% of people would be getting shot with. Just gimmick shit like 500 magnums and 12 ga. Slugs. How bout some 5.56 or 7.62?

The Yankee Marshal is the first one that came to my mind, and I’d have to say that “insufferable idiot” is a pretty good description. Nevertheless, I watch his videos. Why? Not sure; maybe it’s the humor, the choice of topics, or maybe because it’s just different from the pack.
He also accused mrgunsngear of stolen valor, and gave a half assed non-apology

Wow, no Armed Scholar yet? Seems like an alright enough guy, but everyone of his videos is the end of the world level drama clickbait. Tactical Toolbox when he does that "Back up top!" thing with the hand, it's just kind of jarring. Anything where's more politics than guns, especially when it gets to a name calling unprofessional level. Sootch and WPS are a bit jesus preachy for me.
I second this, I watched one video and my feed was destroyed, had to tell YouTube to stop recommending the guy. Everyday is the end of the world or HUGE 2A WIN! god damn it’s annoying.

Is there some kinda thing with him and the Harry Potter shirt? I swear he wears the same Deathly Hollows tshirt in all of his videos. I agree the clickbait "HUGE WIN" or "MAJOR LOSS" is annoying as hell. Then you have to skip the first 5 minutes because of the super annoying plug.

Armed Scholar is a joke...he is the nerdy video gamer type everybody laughs at in a gun shop and or runs off. When you see people like him getting famous talking about firearms you suddenly start to question what 2A has became in 2022. Hard pass and turn the nerds that shoot a airsoft more than a real firearm off!

I have always looked at their videos as commercials for their online store and nothing more. If you do that it’s fine. Videos shooting ten rounds through a chronograph from a few different guns and showing the data is entertaining if not useful. Most of the rest are just commercials.

There's this one guy that signs off every video with "don't try this at home, I'm what you call a professional." He has a speech impediment and he wears the same exact thing in every video. He does Thanksgiving videos and has an ex girlfriend named Wilberforce. He doesn't tell you what to think or do, he just tells you what he thinks and does based on his knowledge and experience. He seems like an okay dude.

My love of Paul Harrell is irrational, he is just such a good likeable dude that I can't help but support him. The funny thing is I don't really enjoy his content but I'd recommend him because his information is good and he's just such a cool dude, no ego, not preachy, and doesn't really care what people think of him beyond trying to give out accurate information.

I used to watch him quite a bit, but man he got old. I get having a contrary point from tike to time in the community, but he seemed to disagree and start drama all the time
My top three are sootch Yankee Marshall and MAC. I used to love MAC in his early days but once copper customs came along he just got so weird and he speaks in absolutes sometimes about certain products or firearms like he the end all be all on the matter.
I gave up on MAC for the same reason.

I watched ONE video from that guy about Swiss gun laws and that was enough for me. The video was so full of errors and ridiculous claims, which suggested they didn't even do the most basic of google search level research on the topic.
I used to be a fan of Demo Ranch but for like the last few years or so he's turned into a "look at all the money i have" youtuber. Brandon Herrera is just a dudebro asshole. IV8888 pretty much became a 2A political podcast.
The only ones i actively watch at the moment are GarandThumb, Hickok45 and Forgotten Weapons. Even then i have to be in the mood to watch them. Its hard to find good content without bias and political bs randomly thrown around.
Hit the nail right on the head. I think in person Matt would be a genuinely nice down to earth guy but he’s basically just become the whistlindiesel of the gun community. 100% agree about iv8888 too. His old videos used to be really informative and fun to watch and now it’s just him posting rant videos. Chad seems to be appearing less and less too. I’m not sure what the future holds for that channel but i think people are getting tired of Eric to say the least.
Paul Harrell usually catches my interest, Kentucky Ballistics, Demo Ranch, sometimes Garand Thumb, sometimes Admin Results if he’s got a cool enough gun. Herrera if he’s breaking down some historical firearms or coming out with something neat.
I avoid Yankee Marshall, usually avoid MAC but I don’t dislike him like I dislike Yankee Marshall.
Tactical consideration is a good channel, TFBTV is a good one tool

I used to love demo ranch. But here lately it seems like he's gotten away from the type of videos that drew me in in the first place.
Don't get me wrong I still watch most of his videos, but these days I usually skip around rather than watch them all the way through.
I like off the ranch and Matt himself, but I haven’t been able to watch more than a few minutes of a demo ranch video in a while. They just get super repetitive

Same, I’ve been subbed for years but I can’t stand his intros, I understand the point of them is be a bit cringey but I just can’t watch them. And I only watch the occasional “what happens when I shoot X” video because for someone with so many guns, he recycles quite a few in his vids. I really only watch the “I just bought X” if I have interest in that gun or the “what happens when I shoot X” vids have a gun I like in the thumbnail.

Which is a shame because some of his experiments are interesting, if he would just SHUT THE FUCK UP AND TEST THE GUN. if you wanted to extract information from me, force me to watch demo ranch intro skits. I would try to chew through my own tongue to drown in my own blood after five minutes.
