Protesters gathered in London, in a show of support and solidarity with former Labour MP Diane Abbott. The rally was organised by Black Lives Matter UK after remarks emerged about the MP by Frank Hester, the Tories’ biggest donor, which were widely condemned as racist and misogynist.
