The Black Regeneration exhibit is awesome. The Mosaic Youth performance was exceptional as well. Weary comfy shoes and block off several hours if you wish to see multiple galleries.

It's surreal to imagine that this non-descript house in Detroit has been the source of so much music that conveyed all the human emotions, joy, sadness, doubt, hope. The music has spread beyond Detroit, beyond Michigan, beyond America. My eyes were opened as to how Berry Gordy along with his team turned talented neighborhood kids into stars and icons for decades. The starts with a small introduction from the guide, who charismatic and engaging, then we toured the house, with the grand finale at the recording room.

Went to see the Cardinals play in Detroit at Comerica Park, located in downtown Detroit. Solid park. I love a ballpark downtown. It’s a modern stadium with two iconic features… the tiger statues and the outfield fountain.

Loved all the marketing using the D. I sat in the lower bowl with club access. The club was fantastic and offered elevated food for a ballpark like salads and wrap. Oh and probably my favorite thing was the Baseball Ferris Wheel.

Glad I went. Cards lost. :o(

Amazing! If you are ready to loose yourself in time with this authentic building, then make plans now. My son is amazed with "old timey" cars, and there were PLENTY for him to look at and get a true feeling of what it was like to manufacture these cars beck in the day.

The river walk runs along the Detroit River. It is a genuinely nice way to enjoy the scenery and walk, run or bike. I try to include a visit to the river walk on my trips to Detroit.

We had Suite 12 of Plante Moran for the February 24th, 2024 Monster Jam. Our experience was such a memorable event to share with our kids and grandkids! Our server, Gwen, was awesome! It was expensive, but we are at a stage in life of “ Hey! Can’t take it with us so let’s enjoy it while we can!” Especially with our grandkids! MONSTER JAM was awesome and we can’t wait to go back next year!
Go ! get a suite! Enjoy! Gwen… thank you!

Was quite surprised of Detroit overall. Only our second ever visit to the city, appears to have gone to a new make over, clean, no street people, no gangs and removal/demolition of the abundance of old buildings.

This was our first visit to Belle isle, very nice. You could tell it has been abandoned for years but renovations are slowly underway, very large nice nature center and many paths

When vacationing / visiting Detroit, the Historical Museum should be one of your first stops. The museum provides a very good overview, of the past and present history of the city, and state of Michigan. The museum shares with its guests, stories of the city of Detroit, and the many “best in class” innovations, architecture, music and so much more! What you learn during your visit, is not only interesting, but will enhance your visit to the Motor City!

What a gem! I truly wish I had something like this in my city. What an amazing foodie gift to the people of Detroit, this is a place that exceeded my expectations. Really loved interacting with the vendors and the food people. They are very proud of what they are selling And they should be. If you are a foodie or just interested in Detroit culture, this is a must stop. It was very fun to pick up little treats and bites to return back to our hotel and enjoy the flavor of Detroit.

As you enter the museum, you are impressed by the architectural magnitude of the dome. Immediately you are even more impressed by the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff. It was wisely suggested to us that we start with the And Still We Rise exhibit. An immersive exploration and explanation of African-American history from its beginnings through the 21st century. One of the very few exhibits we've seen that permit a glimpse of the real experience of slavery from its sources in Africa through the Middle Passage and the severity of the institution in the Americas. The exhibit continues through the victories of the late nineteenth century and beyond. Superbly curated and designed. At the same time, there were several other exhibits, including one on the Tuskegee airmen, contemporary artists and a tremendous exhibit, Double ID, of wonderful art from the CCH Pounder collection. Superb.
