Audience Member Rather turgid low budget desert epic. Ralph Meeker is a French Foreign Legionnaire who falls for an Arab woman (the very non-Arab looking Marla English) whose father, John Carradine, has sworn to kill all Legionnaires. It's essentially a western cavalry picture set in North Africa, but it's a pretty dull one peppered with a few decent action sequences. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 01/31/23 Full Review Audience Member ok french foreign legion tale Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 01/21/23 Full Review Audience Member Bland sand pic is full of stilted dialogue and wooden performances. Ralph Meeker while not always the most relaxed of performers was usually looser than he is here, it almost seems as if he had just been handed the script before the cameras rolled so stiff is he. The rest of the cast is little better, Marla English seems to be sleep walking. There are many other much better films in this genre out there find one of them and skip this.
