Dr Avery studied Medicine at the University of Auckland, New Zealand. She has since moved to Australia and completed her specialist dermatology training in Queensland at the Princess Alexandra Hospital, the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital, the Royal Children’s Hospital, as well as St Mary’s Hospital in the United Kingdom. She has published several articles in international, peer-reviewed, medical journals.
Dr Avery is a visiting dermatologist at the Princess Alexandra Hospital where she supervises a general dermatology clinic. She is actively involved in the training of dermatology specialist registrars.
Dr Avery is available for general dermatology and paediatric dermatology conditions, as well as skin cancer detection and management
