They are very quick and nice. The place is very clean as well. On my last cleaning I had Lindsey helping me and I hope to have her for my fill-ins too.

I lucked up when I found this place, I had a really bad tooth ache and needed to get it taken care of ASAP. So I walked in and was seen with in the hour. The reason I gave 5 stars is because of many factors. 1. The staff here is awesome and very friendly. They put you at ease as soon as you walk back. 2. The Dentist's are also very welcoming and have a great bedside manner about them.3. This place is a nice me stop shop, they do it all even root canal's.... No need to go somewhere else for the root canal and back for the crown..
To date I have had 3 root canal's completed here. I have yet to have a crown come loose or fall out.. which is way more likely from other dentists.
I do recommend making an appointment if you can. Today my apt was 9-11, I walked in at 8:55 and taken back at 9:05.
So for all your dental needs, this is your place!!!!

Rude they were hard on people and people were screaming they gave root canal without telling my mom they put post in my mouth without asking they are not good will not go back

I love visiting this dentist. I have been coming here for years and I absolutely love it. Dr. Payne is one of my favorite dentists and always makes sure that I am okay. The office staff is very friendly and checking in is always so easy. The office is very easy to locate. The parking can be a task. If you don't happen to land an early appointment, it can be tough to find a parking space at the building. There is street parking, but at times, it has also been full. This would probably be my only complaint.

I always book my future cleanings during my cleaning appointments. For me, this is the easiest way to ensure that I get an appointment because they get really booked. I had to get a crown and this place took good care of me. I have also found that their out of pocket prices are also cheaper than other dentists. The good benefit about this office is that they are open on the weekends and are open later than other dentist offices. It is so convenient for emergencies. They also accept walk-ins. So if you have an issue to happen, then you can easily get taken care of. I don't think that I will ever change to another dentist. My only suggestion would be to work on improve parking.

Went to Birmingham Family Dental December 29, 2022. My husband's bridge came out. After seeing the doctor and a tooth removal then waiting 10 weeks the permanent came in. (This after two temporary)
The bill was paid in full. We then discovered that they did not file on our BC Medicare Advantage for an additional amount of money. Got them to file and they received the money and after two weeks decided to call and ask us our card number to credit an amount apx. $180 short of the amount. The office manager tried to tell me additional lab work was done when there was no additional lab work done.
Watch what you pay this office. They will try to pad the bill and over charge you.

This is one of the ONLY dentist offices that see ALL economic and age groups. If you do not have insurance, they are definitely the cheapest place to go. They do not charge you an arm and a leg. The only thing that needs to be improved is the parking! Horrible!! I have never seen anyone being rude!! Love this dentist.

I will yell to the top of my lungs for y'all to go here for your dentistry needs. Ok so I had the worst wisdom tooth pain ever, to where pain was shooting to my ears and I could not think straight to do my job. My wisdom tooth was cracked and I needed to get it out IMMEDIATELY because the pain was unbearable. I called all over and most dentists offices said it would be a few days before I could be scheduled. I called Birmingham Family Dental and they told me to come the same day. Of course when I got there I had to wait for about an hour because I was a walk in. But let me tell you I was veryyyyyy nervous because they do not sedate you to pull a tooth and I was told my tooth was on a nerve that could cause a lot of pain. I shed a couple of tears and told the dentist and assistants please do not let me feel a thing. Y'all... Dr. Cordero numbed my gums with gel, stuck the needle in my gums and wiggled my jaw, I couldn't feel a thing. He pulled my tooth out in 2 seconds. I'm writing this 3 days later, I have not felt any pain whatsoever! No medication needed. I was able to talk and drive the same day. I wish i would have gotten all 4 taken out instead of just one if I would've known it was that easy and painless!

Before visiting Birmingham Family Dental Services, I had yet to find a dentist in Birmingham. Getting set up as a new patient was easy over the phone. It took a while to get an appointment, though, as I just needed a cleaning. I had to wait a couple months.
The office was easy to find and conveniently near my house. Lot parking was available. I had to wait a little past my appointment time for my cleaning to begin. People who arrived after me were being admitted before me, but I think this was because they were seeing different doctors. My hygienist did a great job. The dentist was not the most friendly, but he did a fine job. The rest of the staff was very nice.

I'm comfortable coming here for my check up. They do an excellent job on cleaning my teeth and Dr. Payne always check and make sure their isn't any new cavities popping up in my mouth. The business do have private parking for patients only but sometime I've seen cars parked on the curve when there parking lot is full.

Just started coming here the last 4 months Dr. Tran did a wonderful job with my crown. They are extremely thorough and go out of their way to explain things and make u feel comfortable. They work with several different types of insurance companies, cash and credit cards. Give them a try you'll be pleased.
