Former Congressman Denny Rehberg announced he will make run for the U.S. House of Representatives in Montana's 2nd congressional district.

The following was sent out by the Denny For Montana:

Former Congressman Denny Rehberg today announced his candidacy for the US House of Representatives, Montana-02, vowing to bring his years of experience, dedication, and proven leadership back to serve the people of Montana.

“Joe Biden is making America unrecognizable – and I want our country back,” Rehberg said. “I am a fifth generation Montana rancher. I got into public service because I was moved by past generations of Montanans. I want to return to public service because I am worried about future generations of Montanans. The number one question people ask me is: why are you running for Congress again? It’s a simple one-word answer: Grandkids - I want to ensure there is a country left for our grandkids.”

About Denny Rehberg:

A fifth generation Montana rancher, Denny was born and raised in Billings. Throughout his career, Rehberg has demonstrated a tireless dedication to serving the public and finding common-sense solutions to the challenges facing our state and nation. Denny served in the State legislature before becoming Lt. Governor and was first elected to Montana’s at-large congressional seat in 2000. After a narrow loss in the 2012 United States race, Rehberg returned to the private sector, managing the family ranch and starting several small businesses. Denny and Jan have three children and four grandchildren.
