Take more time during appointments

Dr. Demetriou and his staff were proactive in procuring appointments for tests and doctor's appointments. Dr. Demetriou seems very kind, and also very knowledgeable. Dr. Demetriou appears to be a very thorough clinician. He performed a cardiac exam and asked pertinent questions about my health history.

Dr. Demetriou is a very kind cardiologist. We had a good conversation about a medication I was taking. He stressed that what I was prescribed was the appropriate medication to take as opposed to what the pharmacy had filled. I appreciated his feedback greatly and I like him very much as my cardiologist.

My experience was great however, I was very surprised at the lack of cleaning in the library waiting room. The carpet by the couch looked like it hadn't been vacuumed in months and the table was very dirty.

I am overly appreciative that all of my doctors from primary care to all of my specialist and surgeons are connected and correspond with one another, also they are familiar to each others practice and medical services professional experience. Knowledge of those backgrounds and medical knowledge is important to me. I look for medical professionals who not only know their practice but is focused on listening and talking to patients and not at them.

He seemed to listen to me and that is important in a doctor/patient relationship. Also, he was not an alarmist which can be disheartening. His staff was kind and friendly. My appointment was at 3:00 and I was out in 45 minutes which was certainly timely.

Parking for the handicap - it seem expensive to have to pay $10.00 to be able to park near the hospital. The care is great that I received in the hospital. However, handicap parking should be taken into consideration for those in need. Just my thought, as the parking structure are too hard to walk with someone with a cane.

My daughter and son in law, were with me and my son in law, is the doctor, and he spoke to the, he spoke to my appointment, my doctor, and I didn't get a chance to say anything, my daughter and son in law. Did I was disappointed that I didn't talk, but they but I did like I do like my doctor but my son-in-law, I talked to him and so did my daughter and I didn't get a chance to talk to the doctor. So I was a little bit disappointed, not in the doctor but that my daughter and son in law spoke all the time I can, I can understand everything so I didn't like the idea that, that's what happened. So maybe next time, it won't. Maybe My son in law won't go because I was disappointed

DR. Demetriou answered all my questions in an honest and professional way. we made appt. schedules coordinate with my medtronic appt. , thereby saving me a trip. He has been my dr. for more than 10 years and we appreciate each others knowledge and concerns.

The front desk experience for patients is more relevant than I believe it is considered. If office reviews are looked at, it is obvious how important it is. Friendliness, respect and knowledge should be a priority for the people patients first meet. I am mindful that consent form updates are out of an office's control- in my opinion, nobody should be signing anything they don't understand. People leave their medical facilities all the time and the doctors likely don't even know why.

I wish he would have addressed all the side effects. I'm have much trouble with constipation. Hopefully this new med won't cause dizziness.

Very friendly, polite, and caring staff. I felt very comfortable with everyone. I was able to get my appointment in 1 day which is very hard to do with other providers. I wish, though, I could have gotten an earlier appointment for my stress/echo test than 2 1/2 weeks from now.

none of the staff or other employees at Beaumont knew there was a tunnel from the hospital to the medical building where many of us have to go to the lab for blood work. this info should be in all the orientations for new employees Everyone we asked said you had to go outside. my companion finally figured out where the tunnel was.

Clerical staff don't seem to like their jobs, personalities of clay. My doctor is excellent! Beaumont should not change its name. Bad move turning great treatment and recognized name into a Kmart.

I was not checked in so I was just sitting waiting for no 1 to call me and the doctor put 2 notations in my chart of things I didn't say.
